National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

April 14-20 is the National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week for 2024. This week is set aside to honor those who keep us safe and answer our calls for help. The sacrifices each one of our telecommunicators make and the high level of service they provide are recognized and so much appreciated. Thank you so much for all you do each day to serve and protect our community.
The Sampson County Emergency Services couldn’t be prouder of the dedication, passion, and determination that our Telecommunicators display each and every day. If you ask any of them, it’s a difficult job that few can do, but the opportunity they get to save lives on this side of the call makes it all worth it.
On April 14th, the Sampson County Emergency Services held a cookout for all of our 911 Telecommunicators and their family members with Eastern NC BBQ and BBQ Chicken with all the trimmings.
