From N.C. DOTTwo Sampson County roads will close for a couple of days next week for pipe replacements.
On Nov. 13 and 14, Murphy Road near Boone Road will be closed to traffic. Drivers may use Fredrick, White Oak Church and Boone roads to get around the closure.
Then, between Nov. 15-17, Mingo Church Road near North Spring Branch Road will be closed. Drivers may use North Spring Branch and Aman Dairy roads as a detour.
Maintenance crews will replace the drainage pipes in both locations to improve water flow in the area.
Drivers should be alert to crews working and plan ahead as their commute time may take longer.
