Mission
To guide the physical development of Sampson County in a manner that will preserve its unique characteristics and enhance the quality of life for the city's present and future residents.

In July 2004, Sampson County contracted with the City of Clinton to provide county planning services. The Clinton-Sampson Planning Department is now dedicated to serving the citizens of Clinton and Sampson County through planning, development and zoning practices.

Land Use Plan Survey
The Sampson County Planning Board, Clinton-Sampson Planning Department, and Sampson County Land Use Plan Steering Committee are in the process of developing an updated Sampson County Land Use Plan. To complete a survey, click on the following icon:
