EMT - Intermediate

Description : Applicant should be a high school graduate or equivalent with experience in emergency medical care.  Applicant must currently be credentialed as NCOEMS EMT-Intermediate.   Fulltime employees work 24 hour shifts on a 9 day rotation.  Applicant must possess a valid NC driver’s license and the ability to deal tactfully with the public.  Salary negotiable based upon EMT-I experience.  Salary range $25,620 – $26,892 (with scheduled overtime).  Sampson County offers a complete benefit package, which includes County paid health and dental insurance, annual and sick leave, retirement and 401-K contributions, longevity benefit after 10 yrs as well as other benefits.   Apply at Employment Security Commission, 115 North Blvd, Clinton NC 28328.   Application may be found at www.sampsonnc.com.  Applications accepted until position is filled.
