Sampson County has been awarded North Carolina Housing Finance Agency funds for the Essential Single-Family Rehabilitation Loan Pool - Disaster Recovery (ESFRLP-DR). The ESFRLP-DR program guidelines require all dwellings be inspected for asbestos if suspected asbestos containing materials are present in areas being disturbed, and all dwellings built before 1978 be tested for lead hazards and all identified lead hazards to be abated.
Inspectors and designers must have current certifications from institutions that are approved in accordance with current state and federal requirements for lead based paint and asbestos inspection activities. Please carefully review the attached copies of the specifications necessary to complete this proposal. Proposals are due no later than 3:00pm on Monday, June 18, 2018. Please make note on the envelope containing the proposal that proposal is enclosed. Proposals should be sent to Sampson County, Attention: Juanita Brewington, Purchasing and Contracting Officer, 406 County Complex Road, Suite 120, Clinton, NC 28328.
Sampson County will enter into a contract with the contractor whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the County. Sampson County encourages proposals from small, minority and female owned business and does not discriminate on the basis of handicap status.
Again, proposals should be received no later than 3:00pm on Monday, June 18, 2018.
