Black River Feasibility Study Open House Meetings

The Black River Feasibility Study is being undertaken at the request of the State Legislature to determine if it is feasible and desirable to acquire lands to establish a State Park along the Black River. The purpose of the meetings is to determine the feasibility and desirability of acquiring land and establishing a State Park facility on the Black River. The study will create a vision for what this facility could look like with input from all interested parties. This region promotes natural resources, history, conservation areas and paddle trail opportunities. 

A series of Public Open House meetings are scheduled to take place to get input from the residents of North Carolina and especially the residents of Sampson, Bladen and Pender Counties, on the following dates:
