Crisis Intervention Program (CIP)
Assists with heating or cooling emergencies.  

Emergency Assistance (EA)

Limited cash assistance to crisis situations for families with children under the age of 18.

Family Planning
Services include counseling (eligible clients under 185% of poverty level).  

Fishing License Waiver
Effective January 2007, people who receive Food and Nutrition Services, Medicaid, or Work First Family Assistance can get a fishing license waiver from DSS. This form takes the place of the required fishing license.

General Assistance (GA)
Funds utilized to assist clients in emergency situations with life essential needs for medication, food and shelter, etc.

Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP)
A one-time cash benefit to assist with heating expenses.

Services for the Blind
Social Worker from the State Division of Services for the Blind assists visually impaired persons with various services. 

Voter's Registration
Clients may register to vote while at DSS or, they may request the Voter’s Registration form from front desk personnel.
