Old MacDonald’s coming to town!!! We’re kicking off the Summer Reading Program with the Bright Star Touring Theater musical performance of Old MacDonald’s Sing-Along Farm on June 16, 2018 at the J.C. Children in rising kindergarten through sixth grade can register for the program from June 16th through July 20th. The reading program will also offer 1-hour activity programs at 2:30pm at the local library branches, according to the following schedule:

Mondays at Clinton; Tuesdays at Garland; Thursdays at Roseboro, and Fridays at Newton Grove.

  • June 18th – June 22nd: Music Blast: Limbo, Hot Potato, Musical Spots, and more!!!
  • June 25th – June 29th: Music and Nature: We will make colorful rain sticks using recycled materials.
  • July 2nd - July 5th: Rock & Roll Salsa: Come and join us in decorating maracas.
  • July 9th – July 13th: Beat to a Different Drum: Create your own style of an African Pellet Drum !!!
  • July 16th – July 20th: Music Makers: Using everyday materials we will make a Chinese Pellet Drum.
